Last month, the Guttmacher Institute released a new analysis of 2025 abortion data.
Because several states are enforcing strong pro-life laws, many women travel to other states to obtain abortions. Specifically, the report found that, in 2025, more than 140,000 women obtained abortions outside their state of residence.
In particular, there was a large increase in the number of Florida women who sought abortions elsewhere because of the 2024 Heartbeat Act. The Guttmacher report indicates that between 2024 and 2025, the number of Florida women who traveled to other states to obtain abortions increased by approximately 24 percent. ---More...
Tell Governor Healey to Veto Massachusetts’ Abortion-Until-Birth Bill
After lawmakers suspended the chamber’s rules to fast-track its passage on the final day of formal sessions, the Massachusetts Senate approved “An Act Prioritizing Patient Access to Care,” a bill that would remove the state’s current 24-week abortion limit and allow abortions throughout all nine months of pregnancy, including on viable, healthy unborn children.
“‘An Act Prioritizing Patient Access to Care’ endangers one patient and completely overlooks another in a gruesome and violent assault on human rights,” said Myrna Maloney Flynn, president of Massachusetts Citizens for Life.
The bill now sits on Governor Maura Healey’s desk. She has the authority to sign it, veto it, or return it with amendments. Governor Healey has only one week to act.

Push Back on Kansas Supreme Court’s Radical Abortion Agenda, Vote Yes
On August 4, Kansans will have a chance to push back on a rocketing abortion rate that has grown exponentially in the years following the Kansas Supreme Court’s 2019 decision to enshrine abortion in the state constitution.
The case related to that 2019 decision was actually heard years before, but the pro-abortion Kansas Supreme Court waited to hand down its decision until there was a like-minded governor in place, along with a weaker Republican majority in the legislature.
This unprecedented move by the court ensured its decision to enshrine abortion in the state constitution could not be successfully challenged by the state legislature. Since then, the number of abortions across the state has increased 186%. ---More...
Robert Cardinal Sarah: Killing Babies in Abortions is Not a “Fundamental Right”
There are moments when one clear voice cuts through years of carefully constructed ambiguity. Robert Cardinal Sarah provided such a moment on July 15, 2026, when he addressed the European Parliament in Brussels.
He did not speak in the guarded language of institutions. He did not hide moral realities beneath diplomatic phrases. He spoke as a pastor, an African, and a defender of the truth about the human person. His message carried special urgency for the pro-life cause.
Cardinal Sarah warned that European institutions increasingly use treaties, resolutions, development aid, and trade agreements to impose abortion and gender ideology upon African nations. They rarely state their purpose openly. They advance it through phrases designed to appear harmless, compassionate, and universally accepted.
“Sexual and reproductive health.” “Gender equality.” “Reproductive rights.” ---More...
Abortion Pill Chemicals Found in Water Supply of Three American Cities
A peer-reviewed study published July 20 found “significant” concentrations of the chemical abortion drug mifepristone in the water supply of three U.S. cities. Environmental and medical researchers found levels up to 0.041 micrograms per liter (41 parts per trillion) of active mifepristone compounds in the environmental waters in Austin, Texas; Blacksburg, Virginia; and Carbondale, Illinois. Mifepristone levels up to 0.039 micrograms per liter (39 parts per trillion) were found in the drinking water.
The researchers collected water samples from household taps, as well as samples from both upstream and downstream of water treatment facilities. They analyzed the water using the PR CALUX® bioassay, a laboratory test used to measure the biological effect of a substance, finding mifepristone contaminants in “all but one of the nine sampling classes.”
The study, “Anti-Progesterone in Environmental Water,” appeared in Issues in Law & Medicine, a Journal of the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine. The study was funded by Charitable Allies, Inc. The pro-life organization Students for Life of America stated the study was inspired by its advocacy for clean water. ---More...
