Acting Capitol Police Chief Wants Permanent Fence to Guard U.S. Capitol

Washington, D.C. — Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman wants a permanent fence to guard the U.S. Capitol building following the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. The Capitol Police Board designated Pittman Acting Chief on Jan. 8.
