The Boeing-built Apache attack helicopter is a workhorse for U.S. and international customers, accumulating more than 3 million flight hours for the U.S. Army alone. And now it's getting even better. Boeing has developed a new variant, the AH-64D Apache Block III, which will give soldiers enhanced capabilities, including increased power and payload.
Military and industry officials held a Nov. 2 ceremony at Boeing facilities in Mesa, Ariz., to commemorate the delivery of the first Block III aircraft to the U.S. Army.
The Apache has customers across the globe, including Singapore. In mid-February, the Singapore Airshow takes place, and Boeing will
be there.
