Arizona Supreme Court allows voter information packets to include ‘unborn human person,’ overturning previous judge’s ruling

The Supreme Court of Arizona has allowed voter information packets to use the language “unborn human person” in describing abortion, overturning the Superior Court’s July ruling.

Associated Press reported that the ruling was made on Aug. 14. It concerned a voter information pamphlet describing Arizona’s abortion measure on the ballot for the November election, which would allow abortion until 24 weeks, and later if a “health professional” deemed it necessary for a woman’s “physical or mental health,” as CatholicVote previously reported. -- More...
