The biological parents of Baby Gabriel, the infant saved from abortion by his surrogate mother McKenna West, are suing her for more than $100,000 after she refused their demand to kill him.
Nasheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed filed a countersuit against McKenna West, a 28-year-old nurse from Alaska, weeks before she gave birth in Texas on August 12 to their son, who was diagnosed with a serious and rare heart defect.
The couple had agreed to pay West $60,000 to carry their child under a contract that included an abortion clause allowing them to end Gabriel’s life if there were issues with the baby.
At around 20 weeks, the unborn child was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a life-threatening congenital condition in which the left side of the heart is underdeveloped. West refused their request to abort and traveled to Texas, where state law recognizes the woman who gives birth as the mother. ---More...
President Trump Will Nominate Pro-Life Doctor Heidi Overton as FDA Director
President Donald Trump is expected to nominate Dr. Heidi Overton, a physician and White House health policy adviser, as the next commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration.
Overton currently serves as deputy director for the White House Domestic Policy Council, advising the president on health policy. She previously served as chief policy officer for the America First Policy Institute, where she led its Center for a Healthy America, and was a fellow in the first Trump White House from 2019 to 2020.
Board-certified in public health and general preventive medicine, she trained as a general surgery resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital and earned a doctorate in clinical investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. ---More...
National Day of Remembrance on Will Mourn 66 Million Babies Killed in Abortions
Pro-life advocates across the United States will gather on Saturday, September 12, for the 14th annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.
On that day to mourn the deaths of over 66 million babies killed in abortions since Roe v. Wade in January 1973, pro-life advocates nationwide will be holding prayer vigils at gravesites and memorial sites dedicated to the unborn.
Participants will visit burial places of aborted children and other memorials to mourn the millions of lives lost to abortion, humanize the victims, and recommit to ending abortion. ---More...
Pro-Life Republican Byron Donalds Wins Florida Governor Primary
Pro-life Republican U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds won the Florida Republican primary for governor on Tuesday, securing the nomination to succeed term-limited pro-life Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Donalds, who was endorsed by President Donald Trump, received about 49 percent of the vote. Lt. Gov. Jay Collins finished second with approximately 25 percent, followed by businessman James Fishback with about 10 percent and former state House Speaker Paul Renner with roughly 8 to 9 percent.
Donalds will face Democratic nominee David Jolly, a former Republican congressman, in the November 3 general election. ---More...
Planned Parenthood That Killed Woman in Botched Abortion Injures Another Woman
On July 9, yet another woman required emergency transport from the same Colorado Planned Parenthood responsible for the death of 18-year-old Lexi Arguello.
Just before 11:00 AM that day, a Planned Parenthood staffer called 911 for a 29-year-old female who was reportedly “hemorrhaging.” Public 911 records obtained by Operation Rescue were heavily redacted, but the computer-aided dispatch report showed a determinant code of “21B01M,” which indicates a “possibly dangerous hemorrhage.”
Also, radio dispatch first labeled the call an “uncoded medical,” but EMS responders upgraded the call to a “Code 3” and “Bravo Medical” before even arriving. EMS also immediately requested adding “blood” to the call, meaning sending a second ambulance stocked with adequate amounts of blood, likely for a possible transfusion. ---More...
