Bailouts, radical community activist group
Bank of America Gave $3 Million to ACORN — Not Merely $2 Million
Conservatives have been justifiably
peeved that Bank of America’s charitable foundation has given heaps of money to ACORN over the years, but the foundation’s donations to the radical community activist group are much larger than commonly reported.
The bailout money-receiving bank’s charity has not given just $2 million to ACORN — the total is closer to $3 million.
The foundation has paid $2,999,000 to ACORN Housing Corp. in the form of 28 grants since 2004.
