“I disagree strongly w/@JoeBiden policies, but when the President reaches out to greet me in the chamber of the US House of Representatives, I will always respond in a civil, respectful & dignified way,” Cheney tweeted on Thursday. “We’re different political parties. We’re not sworn enemies. We’re Americans,” Cheney added.”To find favor with this Leftist masquerading as a “Republican”, all old Joe had to do was to fist pump her in the chamber of the US House of Representatives. “We’re Americans?” Millions would argue that both Biden and Cheney are un-American! “As the Democratic president entered the House of Representatives and made his way down the chamber’s center aisle, he fist bumped GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, the number three in the House Republican leadership, who was seated along the aisle. (Fox News, April 29, 2021)
“McConnell has stood by Cheney amid attacks by Trump and others in the Republican party.” (The Hill) “Cheney, the third most powerful Republican in the House, has been under fire by her own party for speaking out against former President Trump after the Capitol riot.” “While Cheney has made headlines the past couple of months for coming under attack by former President Trump and his allies – after being the most high profile House Republican to vote to impeach the then-president following the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol - the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney’s also been a vocal Biden critic.”Well, it all ended yesterday in a televised fist pump!
“Rep. Liz Cheney said in an interview with Punchbowl News Thursday that she will stand behind her vote to impeach former President Trump "every day of the week" as she faces multiple primary challengers in her 2022 reelection effort. “Cheney, R-Wyo., is the chair of the House Republican conference and has taken heat from many on the right over her vocal condemnation of Trump after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol by a mob of his followers. “That has spurred Trump's wrath in multiple forums and triggered a handful of Republicans to announce primary challenges to her -- Trump said in a statement earlier this month he will endorse one of them soon. “But Cheney told Punchbowl News that she has no plans to back away from her stance that impeaching Trump was the right thing to do.”Cheney seems totally unaware that millions of Americans see it as the “left” thing to do.
“The third-ranking Republican in the House of Representatives also said in a separate press call Wednesday that speculation she might not run for reelection is "wishful thinking." She said she is "absolutely dedicated" to "earning the votes of the people of Wyoming.” (Fox News) “Cheney was one of several Republicans who saw a fundraising windfall in the first quarter of 2021 after taking a high-profile stance either for or against Trump. “She brought in $1.54 million, according to the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, more than four times as much as her closest competitor, state Sen. Anthony Bouchard.” “After the fist bump, Cheney blasted Biden over his speech. "The policies he endorsed were not standard liberal ideas, but reflected the fact that the far-left is now in control of the Democratic Party and they are committed to forcing through their plans to empower the federal government at the expense of the American people," she said.”And she should have added that they’re doing so, with the help of phoney Republicans like Liz Cheney and Mitch McConnell! In their books, the president who “put America first” is not American like Joe Biden.
