imageBlueberries have been shown to support short-term memory, and here's a memorable beverage that's easy to whirl! Blueberries, watermelon and lemonade combine for a delicious, refreshing frosty to cool down those warm afternoons. And remember this-you get great sweet-tart flavour and a fruit bonus in every energizing glass! 1 container (6 ounces or 170g) frozen lemonade or limeade concentrate, unthawed, not diluted 2 cups (500 mL) fresh blueberries 2 cups (500 mL) watermelon cubes, seeds removed 1 cup (250 mL) ice cubes
In a blender, purée lemonade concentrate, blueberries and watermelon until very smooth. Add ice cubes; blend until mixture is slushy. Yield: 4 portions (about 5 cups or 1.2 L) Please credit: British Columbia Blueberry Council
