It’s progressed from mischief to a national security threat to what I would consider blackmail.
Julian Assange warns that any government that tries to curtail his activities risks triggering a new deluge of state and commercial secrets. He has suggested the contents are unredacted, posing a possible security risk for coalition partners around the world. The “doomsday files” are part of a contingency plan drawn up by Assange and his supporters as they face a legal threat.
Julian actually thought he could # with the business of nations around the world, they wouldn’t come after him, and now threatening those nations will make them back up off him? If Assange shoots his wad and the world continues to turn, then what…?
