This man could be bothered to make any statements about his two captured web journalists (let alone, go get them), but when Bill Clinton did what the administration couldn’t, Al Gore just had to step in for some of the limelight.

Former Vice President Al Gore also spoke to the throngs of journalists at the news conference. He expressed his gratitude to Clinton and President Obama and his administration who “have been deeply involved in this humanitarian effort.” Lee and Ling are employed by Gore’s California-based media company, Current TV.

With more pressing items to deal with, like saving the planet, it’s amazing Al Gore got off his fat # to greet a couple of mere employees released from a sure North Korean-prison camp-death sentence. Then again, it’s even more sad that the women who were abandoned by their boss, saw fit to embrace him anyway. Liberals first.
