"Dear Mr. Prime Minister; We believe that the Canadian Red Ensign flag should be flown on the site of the Canadian National Vimy Memorial, not just at a single ceremony this April, but every day. We ask nothing for ourselves, but wish to honour the men we went to war with. The 3,598 Canadians who fought and died at Vimy will be there forever. And their flag should fly to provide a permanent visible reminder, forever. Please honour their memories by making this possible. And if they were asked that same day about the National Memorial in Ottawa? It sure would be a permanent visible reminder. Any one that wishes to see or recieve copies of the notarized origionals that were hand delivered to the Prime Ministers office, or for an image of the flag draped around the podium at the opening ceremony at Vimy Ridge can feel free to make contact by email.
