Canadians are just $200 away from being overwhelmed by debt, new survey finds

A new survey says 56 per cent of Canadians are just $200 or less per month away from being unable to meet their debts, but about half seem unconcerned by the problem. The study by MNP Debt, part of the personal insolvency business of MNP LLP, surveyed 1,502 Canadians online between Sept. 6 and Sept. 12 and found 31 per cent are already not paying their bills on time which the firm says makes them technically insolvent. -- More..
