My much-admired colleague David Merrick is proverbially spot-on in writing: ‘This Is One Scary Halloween, To Be Sure’—right down to adding “Again I will not capitalize any of the names of the rat squad doing these things to our nation.” No capitol letters from Merrick for ‘Wizard of All Things Botched’ biden, who, at last count, was on his way from Rome to Glasgow’s COP26 with an 85-vehicle motorcade causing as much carbon emissions as his U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, john kerry, flying in to Glasgow by private jet.

“When the devils in DC decide to allow real American citizens to escape the confines of the ridiculous covid lockdown, there may not be enough of our formerly great nation to save.”

Today may be the day when old joe and his wailing ghosts are out there haunting the Free World with their Forever Halloween, but for Christians, the world over, it’s also the day we mark the Feast day of Christ the King. As Merrick reminds us:
