CNN Tries Turning Trump “Special Day of Prayer” Into “White Evangelical” Day

Today is the day devoted Evangelist Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, has called a “Special Day of Prayer” to protect President Donald Trump from his “enemies”. While Franklin Graham is revered by millions of Christians world wide as an inspiring Evangelist, just as his father was before him, according to CNN Religion Editor Daniel Burke, he’s a “White Evangelical”. Because Evangelists come in all colors and all races, calling Franklin Graham a “White Evangelical” is racist.

The word “evangelical’, incidentally is an adjective rather than a noun. Franklin Graham is an “Evangelist”, and an awesome one at that. “In some respects, the "Pray For Trump" day seems designed to drive positive media coverage of the President, shifting the narrative from a presidency in peril to one buoyed by Trump's most loyal bloc: white evangelicals. Graham himself has no public events planned on June 2, outside of a prayer he'll post on Facebook and a television appearance on Fox News.” (Daniel Burke, CNN, May 31, 2019) Trump’s “most loyal bloc” does not include only “white evangelicals”, but as can be attested by those who prayed over him the day before his Inauguration, includes many Black Evangelists too. Burke spreads bovine bias and bigotry in writing about the “Pray for Trump Day”:

“Sunday's event is a near-perfect embodiment of political evangelicalism in the Age of Trump: It blends Christian nationalism, the idea that the United States has a special place in God's plans and Trump is God's agent; social media, where it's hard to separate the wheat of grassroots support from the chaff of Russian bots; and it has seriously irked Christians who say Graham and others have sold their souls for a mess of political pottage.” (CNN)

For true believers, White and otherwise, the United States, all other countries, and everyone of us on Earth have a “special place in God’s plans”. God Almighty is far away from the Deep State Swamp currently working to hammer America into a Socialist State, and for certain gives not a whiff about craven social media, “where it’s hard to separate the wheat of grassroots support from the chaff of Russian bots”. According to CNN’s sanctimonious Religious Editor, “Some have accused Graham of "weaponizing" prayer and turning it into a pro-Trump propaganda tool”. All who pray weaponize prayer against evil. Why don’t some of the “some” irked step forward and do their own talking, rather than letting CNN do it on their behalf? Note CNN’s seething sarcasm when writing about “White Evangelical” Franklin Graham:

“Like no President before him, Trump was under attack, Graham said. From Democrats, Republicans, the media, even powers and principalities beyond the human realm. His presidency was in peril, the country at a moral crossroads. (CNN) "We're on the edge of a precipice," Graham said. "Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene. We need to ask God to protect, strengthen, encourage, and guide the President.”

And, of course CNN uses the “Special Day of Prayer” to put in a plug for Trump’s Impeachment:

“Just this week, special counsel Robert Mueller spoke publicly for the first time about his 22-month investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Since then, calls for Congress to impeach the President have grown, even from within Trump's own Republican Party.” (CNN)

There is nothing on earth more powerful than prayer and the Deep State, their “progressive”/socialist surrogates know that. Follow Franklin Graham’s call to Pray for President Trump today—but don’t stop there. Pray for Peace in our time, and pray every bit as fervently for the children of our day. Pray for the 48 million innocent babies left vulnerable each year to the scourge and sin of abortion. Pray for children who made it past abortion, only to be robbed of their God-assigned gender by classroom teachers and activists elected to public office. Pray today that millions bear in mind between now and Election 2020 that a Vote for a Democrat is a Vote for Infanticide.
