Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers and Businesses of Canada calls on the Ford Government to resists the push for Vaccine Passports

TORONTO - The Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers and Businesses of Canada (CCMBC) is calling on the Ford government to resist calls for Vaccine passports The Coalition respects and stands for individual liberties protected under the Constitution of Canada and other bills of rights and freedoms in democratic societies and the right for individuals to choose whether to get vaccinated or not. As such, we believe that any imposition by governmental authorities of vaccine passports to have access to services in Canada is a shocking infringement of individual freedom of movement and civil liberties. We note that the World Health Organization has recommended against the use of "vaccination passports", largely because they are based on an exaggerated expectation concerning the degree of immunity that vaccination confers.

Preserve individual choice, Freedom, Canadian Jobs, and Liberty

The Coalition recognizes that the science on Covid is rapidly evolving daily and there are too many unknowns and uncertainty regarding the virus and the treatment to have forced vaccine passports. This is especially true when you take into consideration our high vaccination rate in Ontario. Moreover, we also oppose “lockdowns” that have proven harmful to the economy and have affected the mental and physical health as well as the livelihood of many individuals and organizations. We invite those that wish to preserve individual choice, freedom, Canadian jobs, and Liberty to stand with us by joining the Coalition and opposing vaccine passports for citizens of Ontario.
