Democrats Will Make Street Theatre Out Of Tonight’s SOTU

Brace yourself for Showtime at the crazy Capitol during SOTU tonight. The prog/left, who have been dragging out all their props, will make President Donald Trump’s second SOTU address as hideous as possible—before turning around and blaming it all on him. Since President Franklin Roosevelt’s day, the State of the Union is given typically each January before a joint session of the United States Congress and is held in the House of Representatives chamber of the United States Capitol.

Deceitful Democrats, who will feign shock at the antics of ‘freshman’ members Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, have a captive audience courtesy of cable television networks, and will pretend they never knew what was planned during weeks of rehearsals since Midterms 2018. Having a guaranteed captive audience with the media on hand to report on their antics is as good as it gets in the kind of street theatre the prog-left loves to play. In fact, if captive audience members have anything more exciting to do, like maybe watching paint dry, they don’t have to tune in. They can always be like Senator Bernie Sanders, and talk it up online after the show is over but run the risk of being smeared racist and sexist at the drop of a hat. For the third year in a row, following the Democratic rebuttal, the not only long in tooth, but long in chin wag department Sanders will be on Facebook Live, Twitter and YouTube to respond to Trump:

“Democrats are accusing Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) of sexism and racism over his announcement that he would be giving his own rebuttal speech to the State of the Union speech from the president. (The Blaze, Feb. 4, 2019)

"Stacey Abrams is a great choice to deliver the Democratic response," Sanders tweeted. "I'm very much looking forward to her speech." “But many on the left objected to his "upstaging" the African-American woman, despite the fact that he would be giving his response after hers, and that he had done so in the past as well. "We hope that @berniesanders understands that in many progressives' minds he has a woman problem and a POC problem, and by presenting his own response it will just confirm those issues," remarked the account for the progressive radio station WMNF. "This doesn't have to be about his 2020 plans. Let @staceyabrams be front and center."

“Archila, a constituent of Ocasio-Cortez’s, will now return to the Capitol as an invited guest. “I just feel particularly moved that in her first participation in the State of the Union, she is inviting me to join and inviting that moment of the elevator, my confrontation with the men who do not understand the life of women and the lives of people who are not in power, that she’s inviting that into the imagination of people again,” Archila told The Intercept. “Members of Congress each bring a guest to the State of the Union address, and many choose to bring one who represents an issue or policy stance they prioritize. (The Intercept) “Occasio-Cortez dropped a hint about her guest on Saturday, posting a picture of an enamel pin that reads “Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History” that she had picked up at a local shop.

The mainstream media dubbed “freshman” will join their incumbent senior colleagues on being long on promises but short on delivery. With the hype of the mainstream and social media, community activism now rules America and even Senators Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, who still think they rule the roost, can’t—or won’t— do anything about it. No one puts it better than Canada Free Press poet/pundit, Tony Mangan:

“The latest observation of our country's decline: Those who are adults and fight for the truth, will be spared much of the woe because what is happening to our country is our woe, but the young people and those fewer that are being allowed to be born, will live the sting, as it hasn’t yet reached its worst levels.”

  Meanwhile, all jesters and jokers have been called to the SOTU stage tonight, and when it’s all over, SOTU’s grotesque sideshow performances will be the fault of the man the prog/left so love to hate, President Donald Trump.
