Why is that Trump's job?
Trump not defending Obama on the Muslim issue
The question should not be why Trump didn't fly to defend Obama against the man who said he was a Muslim and not an American citizen. The better question is why is that Trump's job? And why is everyone else jumping to defend Obama?
Trump didn't agree with the speaker. In fact he sort of dismissed the remarks by saying he'd be looking into the issue of training camps and "other things".
Setting aside the citizenship and religion questions, hasn't Obama bent over backwards to mollify Muslims? Hasn't he shown a reluctance to call terrorists what they are? Hasn't he telegraphed his favoritism to anyone paying attention?
Funny, we say we want an outsider, someone who hasn't been wading around in the muck of political correctness. Well, okay then, we might find an outsider caught unprepared for a certain question.
Does that mean they aren't fit to lead? I don't think so. I'm sick of people with glib, canned responses.
