Drag Democrat Skeletons Out of the Closet, Mr. SchultzLet’s hope biz whiz former Starbucks’ CEO Howard Schultz puts to good use all he has learned about hypocritical Democrats now that he’s considering running for the 2020 presidency as an ‘independent’. As one of them, leftist scion Schultz is a rare storehouse of inside knowledge. More romantic folk drop bottles with messages into the sea. As CEO of the world’s biggest coffee chain, with more than 28,000 stores in 77 countries, Schultz sent his political messages out on cardboard coffee cups, to the smirks of Dems of the day.
With the shivs of socialist rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other pretending-not-to-be-socialists Democrats sticking out of his back, Schultz has a golden opportunity to show the Democrats up for what they really are. Out of Democrat trick bag 101: It’s kosher to be a billionaire, if you’re a Democrat-approved one. But step out of line and get in the way of presidency bound ego maniacs like Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, et al, and, you are overnight transformed into a “capitalist pig”. How dare Howard Schultz point out that his success story represents the “American dream” when only Democrats can lay claim to it? Kind of comical how before announcing he is considering a run for president, Schultz was upheld as Captain Democrat, his searing criticisms of President Donald Trump loudly lauded. He’s now a figure in the Democrat coloring book, crayoned over to one big blob. For years, Starbucks emblazoned their pricey coffee cups with political messages: “Starbucks is using its coffee cups to jump into the political fray in Washington. (CTV, Dec. 26, 2012)
“The world’s biggest coffee chain is asking employees at cafes in the Washington, D.C., area to scribble the words “Come Together” on cups for drink orders on Thursday and Friday. CEO Howard Schultz says the words are intended as a message to lawmakers about the damage being caused by the divisive negotiations over the “fiscal cliff.” “It’s the first time employees at Starbucks cafes are being asked to write anything other than customers’ names on cups. “This isn’t the first time the coffee chain is using its platform to send a political message. In the summer of 2011, Schultz also asked other CEOs and the public to stop making campaign contributions until politicians found a way to deal with a crisis over the debt ceiling that led to a downgrade in the country’s credit rating."
Now that he’s come out as a possible contender for the presidency, the well-fed worm has turned: In a “60 Minutes” interview Sunday on CBS, he expressed frustration with the two-party system. “I am seriously thinking of running for president,” he said. “We’re living at a most fragile time, not only the fact that this president is not qualified to be the president but the fact that both parties are consistently not doing what’s necessary on behalf of the American people and are engaged, every single day, in revenge politics.”(Washington Post, Jan. 29, 2019)
“Since then, Schultz has argued in a slew of media appearances that there is a big appetite for a third-party candidate, a “silent majority” looking for a centrist third way.”

All was more than kosher with the Dems as long as ‘The Coffee Guy’ was part of the progressive anti-Trump hatefest. That is, until power-crazed Democrats figured out that an independent in the race could split the vote against the Democrats and favour the reelection of DJT, the horror of all Dem horrors. Now the whining narrative being passed on to mainstream and social media is that Schultz is not a self-made man. Or as Obama and Elizabeth Warren would say about epic Starbuck success: “He didn’t build that.” “Socialist It Girl, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), ripped into Schultz this week, saying that billionaires need to “work their way up” before running for president, or that “maybe they should start with city council first.” (Breitbart, Jan/. 29, 2019)
“Why don’t people ever tell billionaires who want to run for President that they need to “work their way up” or that “maybe they should start with city council first”?
“Ocasio-Cortez has still not explained how starting in the housing projects and ending up a billionaire fails to qualify as “working your way up.” “Brandon Friedman, a former HUD official under President Obama, took this to another level with the claim you cannot call yourself “self-made” if you were raised in the projects. “Responding to a quote from Schultz about being “self-made,” Friedman wrote, “If you ‘grew up in the projects,’ then you’re not ‘self-made.'” “The ‘projects’ are taxpayer-funded public housing. Your friends, neighbors, family members and millions of Americans you never met all worked and paid their taxes so that you wouldn’t have to grow up homeless,” he explained."
Take that, never-homeless Mr. Starbucks, even though your coffee store outlets were open to every Liberal loon on the planet.
“The left honestly believe the government deserves credit for everyone’s success — unless you grew up “homeless.” Only if you start out as homeless can you declare yourself “self-made.” (Breitbart) “But even then, the homeless sleep on government-built sidewalks and beneath government-built bridges. What’s more, at some time the homeless probably attended a government-run school as a child. “As a failed president once said, “You didn’t build that!”
For this could-be independent the feeding frenzy has begun: “Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to a criticism of her from former Starbucks' CEO Howard Schultz on Wednesday by portraying herself as a victim of classism and ended up embarrassing herself.(Daily Wire, Jan. 30, 2019)
"I respect the Democratic Party. I no longer feel affiliated because I don't know their views represent the majority of Americans. I don't think we want a 70 percent income tax in America," Schultz said in a CNBC interview on Monday. "The way I’ve come to this decision is, I believe that if I ran as a Democrat, I would have to say things that I know in my heart I do not believe, and I would have to be disingenuous.”
Tell it like it is, Mr. Schultz, you’ve got the goods on them. Unlike many of the progressive senators in congress who made themselves rich on the backs of the masses, Schultz knows what poverty is.
“He experienced poverty at an early age. When Schultz was 7 years old, his father broke his ankle while working as a truck driver picking up and delivering diapers. At the time, his father had no health insurance or worker's compensation, and the family was left with no income. (Daily Wire) “Schultz worked various low-level jobs — including as a bartender, which was Ocasio-Cortez's previous occupation — until he landed a sales role at Xerox. Schultz left Xerox for a role at a housewares company called Hammarplast, where he worked his way up to vice president. While working at Hammarplast, Schultz discovered Starbucks and later convinced Starbucks to hire him as the director of retail operations and marketing. Several years later, Schultz bought Starbucks and eventually went on to become a self-made billionaire. That is the very definition of someone "working their way up.” “Ocasio-Cortez's tweet was widely mocked by commentators and media figures, who noted its absurdity: Later on in his interview on CNBC, Schultz addressed Ocasio-Cortez's claim that billionaires represented a policy failure and that the U.S. was "immoral" for allowing an economic system that allowed for billionaires to exist. "It's so un-American to think that way," Schultz responded. "I'm self-made. I came from the projects and took advantage of the promise of the country. I'm living proof of the American dream.”
Drag all the skeletons out of the closet, Mr. Schultz and put them on public display for the long-suffering masses. Your presidential bid can kick off with a captive audience that already knows the difference between “living proof of the American dream” and living proof of the American nightmare—the Democrats.
