Equity is not equal

Equity is a liberal word used to achieve something beyond one's effort or ability at the expense of others who do.

It means taking a portion of the production of the industrious and giving it to the feckless in order to equalize the competition.

In golf, it refers to 'handicapping', placing a duffer in a position where he or she can beat a low scorer. In mixed company it is referred to as BE; Bovine Excrement, or what is commonly know as BS, bull sh*t!
