The deceit within our government is far spread and growing. If we do not start to pay attention and invest in knowledge of what is really happening we will all suffer terribly and the hands of those tasked with looking out for our interests and that of our country.
Here is one example. Many of us who are Seniors are part of Medicare Advantage, a health insurance program where our premiums are subsidized by the government. The deduction taken from our Social Security or paid by you with a check, does not cover the premium. Also, the very low payments allowed to providers keeps the program afloat.
Obamacare will change the Medicare system by removing a lot of the Government subsidy and switch it to Obamacare. Your premiums for Medicare will rise. That begins Oct. 15, 2012. And if understood would hurt Obama’s reelection prospects. Here’s the sneaky part; they knew that people would be upset about this so they slid in a little program in for a few months to hide some of the pain. Those on “high performing” insurance plans would get a reprieve until after the election.
Problem is, the Government Accounting Office says the program should be cancelled (of course it won’t be) because it does not reward those high performing insurers, it focuses too much on 2012 (that figures) and doesn’t provide enough benefit for the 8.35 Billion dollar price tag.
Bottom line, that’s another 8.35 billion vote purchase. Get informed.
