Graham Frazer COLC is visiting Sri Lanka to tell us How Canada has implemented the Bilingualism of English and French as a success story in Canada.

Is that true?. Your statistics show otherwise. I was under the impression all Canadians new both English and French till I read some of your articles. Do you really need an commissioner of official languages in Canada if bilingualism has failed, or it is another wasteful source of money. By the way, Canada has given Sri Lanka US$5 million to teach us bilingualism. Most of it is used by people like Mr. Frazer and his counterparts in Sri Lanka travelling to and from Canada. Sri Lanka leads the world as a tourist destination today. Hope he is not a tourist at the expense of Canadian taxpayer. Tissa De Silva Galle, Sri Lanka
