Hearts Left Broken In The Destruction Of Our Lady of Fatima National Shrine

In these horrific anti-Christian times when the powerful Washington Government is working overtime to save abortion, it couldn’t be left to stand. They couldn’t let it stand. The beautiful, white marble statue of our Mother Mary, Our Lady of Fatima standing outside the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., the largest Roman Catholic Church in the United States, and one of the ten largest churches in the world.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Millions of hearts were broken, left in more pieces than the hacked off hands of the statue —just three days before the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation in the Roman Catholic Church to celebrate the conception of Mary in the womb, and some three weeks before the annual celebration of the Birth of Our Lord and Savior as the Baby Jesus in the Manger. The video of a masked, seemingly older man, captured on a security camera, was shown attacking the head of the marble statue, as well of smashing off the hands of the statue of the Mother of Jesus. “District of Columbia police are on the lookout for any information leading to the arrest of “an individual” who vandalized the statue.() Make that “on the lookout” for the vandal while the mainstream and social media, and pro-abortion ‘Catholic’ Washington politicians look the other way.

Replacing Notre Dame Cathedral with a secular theme in high praise of the Environment

You may not be able to see the masked man anymore, anywhere, but you can see his dastardly deed by watching the Washington Police video, if that is, you have the stomach to watch it. The most recent horrendous vandalization of a Pieta-like painting of Mother Mary stolen from the Catholic University of America Columbus Law School, replacing Christ as George Floyd which still stands—with the majority of the media and politicians continuing to look the other way. (link) We live in times of tears and tribulations when all that is good and holy is being removed from our lands. The tears of young people gathered when the exquisitely beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral went up in flames were prolific and broke millions of hearts. President Emmanuel Macron and his authorities promised to restore the Cathedral to its original beauty but are today replacing it with a secular theme in high praise of the Environment.

Our Lady of Fatima

The only way to dry the tears of the faithful is fervent prayer. One of the most powerful is the one the Angels taught to the three little shepherd children of Fatima sometime in the Spring of 1916:

“My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love thee! I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love thee.”

“The Fatima statue and the garden around it were completed in 2017, the 100th anniversary of Mary’s appearances to three shepherd children in a field near Fatima, Portugal, with her message that eucharistic prayer, recitation of the rosary and penance would save souls and bring peace to the world. “On one side of the national shrine’s garden is the white Carrara marble sculpture of Our Lady of Fatima with the three child-visionaries at her feet, Lúcia dos Santos and Jacinta and Francisco Marto. On the opposite side is the crucified Christ, sculpted from the same kind of marble.”

We love Our Blessed Mother now and in Eternity

For all of those heartbroken by thoughts of the three shepherd children of Fatima statues being separated at the Basilica from the statue of their beloved Mother, they will remain for time immemorial at Her Feet. And those who kiss the hands of the beloved Lady of Fatima’s broken hands in prayer, know in their hearts that the sure-footed donkey carrying the Blessed Mother of Christ to His Christmas Eve Birth is on the way some 2000 years later. Like Her Son, Who died an agonizing Death on The Cross for our Salvation, we love Our Blessed Mother now and in Eternity.
