Islamic militants today used the funeral of one of the world's most wanted terrorists to threaten all-out war on Israel.
Hezbollah's leader threatened to retaliate against Israeli targets abroad after accusing it of assassinating mastermind Imad Mughniyeh with a car bomb in Syria. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah told thousands of mourners in Beirut: "Zionists, if you want this type of open war then let the whole world hear: let it be an open war." Mughniyeh, 45, hunted by Israel and the United States for two decades, was killed in Damascus on Tuesday. Shi'ite Muslim Hezbollah and its main backer Iran, whose foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki attended the funeral, accused Israel of killing him.
