Illegal use of ID cards

Believe it or not, we are still arguing whether or not an Identification Card, Matricular Consular, issued by the Mexican Government through their consulate offices in this country, as valid ID to establish birthright citizenship for babies, get drivers licenses and for other instances that require valid ID.

How ridiculous is taking anything from the country of origin to validate illegal aliens in this country? The whole purpose of the card is to show that the bearer is a Mexican citizen. Do you hear that? A Mexican citizen. Without further documentation, such as a green card, they are in our country illegally and using the card to obtain benefits that are reserved for citizens. Worse, we go along with it. And our courts support it. At least Texas is challenging the use of the ID cards. We should all be challenging them. Simply having the card does not give the bearer legal status in any way, shape or form. Jennie Veary
