IRS Commissioner not terribly concerned if the ID numbers were stolen
When questioned by Senate Finance Committee about the fraudulent use of Social Security numbers to file taxes and receive refunds, IRS Commissioner, John Koskinen said-out loud, in public, that as long as the IRS is collecting taxes, they are not terribly concerned if the ID numbers were stolen.
Even when notified by the Social Security Administration that names and numbers don't match, the agency sees no reason to take action. Now, remember the IRS has been hacked, not once but twice.
This is the same guy who took over as head of the IRS following the targeting of certain groups by Lois Lerner and who covered up the loss of the hard drive information on her computer for several months.
An Obama-appointed and Senate-confirmed IRS Commissioner should be required to protect SS numbers and ID information of the good people who support the entire corrupt system. It's the least he can do.
