Israel; our strongest ally in the middle east

Dear Mr. McConnell: I wish to once again write to your Editor to compliment you on your excellent article of January 31, 2015.

I believe that Israel is one of our strongest allies in the Middle East, and we should stand shoulder to shoulder with them in trying to keep the peace. I believe that in 2005 the Quadrennial Defense Review outlined the Middle East and portions of Africa as being an Arc of Instability for at least the next 50 years. Supporting Israel, and winning over the hearts and minds of citizens who wish to live in peace under a stable government is perhaps something that should be a goal of this Congress, and our next President.
