‘Politico seems baffled at Republicans crediting 'divine intervention' for saving Trump from assassination’-headline, Fox News, July 16, 2024.
“Republicans elevated former President Trump to "martyrdom" by their claims "divine intervention" saved him from assassination, a Politico article reported.”
So, according to Politico—with the jury still out on Fox—it’s only the Republicans and not the masses elevating former President Trump to “martyrdom.”
Oh Lordy, Lordy:
Guess both Politico and Fox remain unaware of the millions of Christians, worldwide, who have long been praying for the safety of Donald Trump, doubled down on prayers for him, as soon as they realized that he narrowly escaped death by inches at Saturday’s attempted assassination, during a campaign rally in Butler, Pa.
“The former president was nearly assassinated at a campaign event Saturday night after a shooter fired multiple shots in his direction. Trump was hit in the ear and quickly rushed off-stage by Secret Service. (Fox News)
“Trump was later declared safe by medical authorities, but experts have noted the bullet was only an inch away from being deadly, suggesting that turning his head at the rally may have saved his life.”
"For someone to get out on an open roof within 130 yards — I'm not going to be the guy to be conspiratorial, but something went wrong," Donald Trump Jr. remarked in an interview with Fox News Digital.
"That was truly divine intervention, as far as I'm concerned," he concluded.
"Several other people have also described the scenario as nothing short of "miraculous," which Politico suggested was an almost deification of the former president in a story headlined, "Republicans embrace ‘divine intervention’ for Trump’s near-miss into martyrdom.”
"His supporters’ — many top Republican officials — embrace of divine intervention further solidifies Trump’s position in the party as not just its leader, but as one who is viewed as chosen by, perhaps, a higher power to save the country," the article read.
Sore losers within the Democrat Party and media are at wits ends now that belief in God Almighty has come back to the forefront in a highly anti-Christian era.
Need we remind Politico about the Messiah the DNC introduced from a faux Greek Temple setting in Denver, in 2008?
Rather than focusing on how a would-be assassin —with his very own ladder—climbed up on a roof a mere 130 yards away from Trump, and in full view of both rally attendees and Trump’s alleged ‘security’, who seemed to wait for the shooter to take five or six shots before firing back.
Clue for Secret Service agents et al: Who brings his own ladder to a Trump rally?
We live in a day where people are thrown in prison for silently praying in protests.
Oh dear, is this just another free attack on Christianity, Mr. Westmacott?
Democrats, so many of them in league with the Commies over at the WEF (World Economic Forum), go ballistic at the very mention of “Divine Intervention” believing that they are the only ones who have it.
Even as persecution of Christians and burning down churches is the sad reality of our day, some of us still faithfully BELIEVE in the Divine Intervention of our Creator.
Millions of Christians across the world fell on their knees in prayer on Saturday.
You should try it sometime, Politico, Fox and power-crazed Democrats.
Meanwhile, believers should pray more fervently than ever in order to survive the burning resentment and searing hatred of the Dems who just had their cherished Trump mug shot “divinely Trumped” by a far more powerful and iconic one.
