The announcement of the new "God and Country" church, in Englewood, comes at a time when the need is great. Good for Randy McClendon for identifying a need and taking action.
His observations on the need to keep government out of church life is on target. I hope that this new church will flourish and the idea will spread. We should never be afraid to speak out anywhere but especially in our churches.
