Liberty Counsel Opposes ACLU's Class Action Request in Kim Davis Case
Morehead, KY - Today, Liberty Counsel filed an opposition response to the ACLU request to expand the plaintiffs' suit to a class action.
While the ACLU previously agreed not to pursue a class status while the appeals were pending, the ACLU has now reversed course. "The fact is, the plaintiffs' case is moot," said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.
"The ACLU is seeking to stir up controversy where it does not exist. Class action litigation is the exception, not the rule, and is not warranted in this case," concluded Staver.
