Like were sticking together
Like we’re sticking together, we’re as tight as glue
Like five toes in a sock like a foot in a shoe
Like sand mixed with gravel that cements ones love
Like being caught between a rock and a hard place
Like when push comes to shove.
Like a school kid cutting, gluing and pasting in class
Like a lawn mower, mowing some grass
Like a barnacle sticking to a pier, like a rabbit with a floppy ear
Like fish swimming in a school
Like two swimmers neck ‘n’ neck in a pool
Like love birds cooing in a tree, like a flower being pollinated by a bee
Like a dog flicking at a flea, like busy squirrels storing acorns in a tree
Like sardines packed tightly in a can,
Like people in a sweaty elevator without a fan.
Like bread toasting in a toaster, like lovers on a roller coaster
Like two peas in a pod, like a snail in a shell
Like a clanger in a bell, like a water bucket down a well
Like I love you and I just think you’re swell!
