Live Nativity Comes to DC WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police officers will stop traffic as camels, sheep and a donkey accompany Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus, the Three Wise Men and shepherds dressed in first century attire as they proceed around the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Faith & Liberty, Liberty Counsel’s Christian missionary and spiritual outreach in the nation’s capital, will present this ceremonial procession which begins at 11 a.m. across the street from the East Plaza of the U.S. Supreme Court and moves into place with the Court on one side and the Capitol on the other. Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, will hold a short press conference at 109 2nd St. NE before the procession begins. The account of that first Christmas night from the Gospel of Luke will be read from the Bible as well as live music. Photo opportunities will also be available. For media inquiries, contact Peggy at 202-236-0953.
