The Dow Jones Industrial Average suffered its worst Inauguration Day drop ever yesterday as Barack Obama was sworn in as president of the United States, Bloomberg reports.

Markets seem to be sending a message loud and clear to President Obama that he won’t be able to spend his way out of the current recession.
