Media Circus Over Trump’s Supposed New HairdoTrump Haters—99% Lib-Left—also hate babies, aborting some 50 million of the innocents since 1973 in the U.S. alone. In displaying his visceral hatred of Trump to the world, London Mayor Sadiq Khan had an inflatable ‘Baby Trump’ balloon sporting a diaper, and clutching a mobile phone, created to mock the American president. Giant ‘Baby Trump’ is expected to fly again during this weeks’s Trump state visit to Britain.
In case the balloon doesn’t steal the show from the Royal’s red carpet treatment of the Trump family visit, Mayor Khan’ has thrown in comparing the language used by the president to that of “fascists of the 20th century” for good measure. How can babies of the real flesh and blood kind, or of the inflatable kind be “fascists”? And Trump, who today said that Sadiq Khan is “like (NY mayor) “De Blasio, only shorter”, doesn’t count on balloons to make his point. Khan’s desperate ‘Baby Trump’ publicity stunt has about as much chance of stealing state visit publicity as the Museum of London will have luring tourists to see the inflatable where it is expected to be stashed. That didn’t stop BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire from “hosting” the Trump Baby Blimp on her show today, or Sky News from posting a TV ad depicting Trump as a “giant, angry balloon casting a shadow over London”. “Set to an ominous musical backing track, the video shows a looming Trump balloon roaming the sky, casting a long shadow over the British monarchy and darkening the city of London. The balloon is made wholly visible only in the final few moments of the video, appearing as a cartoonized version of Trump scowling, mouth agape, with a shock of yellow hair. The comical rendering is not unlike the Trump Chicken and other hot-air balloons that have dotted the skies at stateside Trump protests.” (Newsweek, June 1, 2019)
“He's back,” the video warns, before offering up the stream's viewing schedule.”
The Trump-hating mainstream and social media are getting more delirious by the hour. Back home the media and Twitter are all in a twist because President Trump attended Pastor David Platt’s memorial for the 12 victims shot down in a blaze of gunfire in Virginia Beach Friday, with slicked-back hair, which they went on to mock as the president’s new hairdo. The slicker, sweat flattened hair was courtesy of a baseball cap the president removed before joining Pastor Platt on stage, but the British media story, picked up and posted as the Drudge Report’s main story last night, found it easier to mock the president’s “new hairdo”. Meanwhile, the Museum Of London plans to display the huge inflatable in its protest collection. (Daily Online, June 3, 2019) Do all museums have “protest collections”, or just the British Museum?
“It said owners of the famous effigy are keen for it to go to the museum. Derbyshire hosted a smaller version of the blimp in the studio today for her show on BBC Two. (Daily Mail) “The Trump Baby blimp is expected to fly again during this week's state visit, which includes a private lunch with the Queen and a state banquet at Buckingham Palace. “Museum Of London director Sharon Ament said it would also like to display the Sadiq Khan balloon, which depicted the London Mayor in a yellow bikini. 'They're both really important and of their time,' she said. 'They characterise a satirical characteristic of British people, the way in which we sometimes respond to big issues using satire.

“The museum, which tells the story of the capital from 450,000 BC to the present day, is moving from its base near the Barbican to a larger site in 2024. “The balloons are so huge that 'we won't be able to display them until we move to our new site in West Smithfield,' the director said. “'We don't own the object and the owners are still making use of it,' she said of the Trump effigy. 'It's up to them to decide when they are ready to donate it.’ “The Trump balloon was flown above Parliament Square last year and its owners have been given the green light by the Greater London Authority, headed by the London Mayor, to fly it once again.”
Seems that Baby Trump’s and Khan’s yellow bikini balloons’ flying days are over. 'They're both really important and of their time’? Guess that’s why they will end their days among all the other relics at the British Museum. Although the mainstream and social media will never report it, all big balloons and their sponsors deflate over time.
