Mitt Romney: From Mormon to Moron In One Easy VoteHypocrite Utah Senator Mitt Romney dragged The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) into his long-running personal feud against President Donald Trump, and the leaders of the 15-million-member strong LDS should call him out on it. Romney, on the record for hating Trump—all for being the president he wants to be—used his “Faith” as a cover to give raging Democrats the ability to call their Impeachment drive non-partisan. Bollocks

“I take an oath before God as enormously consequential,” he said. “I knew from the outset that being tasked with judging the president, the leader of my own party, would be the most difficult decision I have ever faced. I was not wrong.” (Fox News, Feb. 6, 2020)
“Romney added Trump’s abuses of power were “so egregious” they “demanded” removal from office. Romney told Fox News he "had to follow” his “conscience" in his vote.”
With those sanctimonious words, Willard Mitt Romney, made it appear that the entire Mormon Church, a religious order followed by millions worldwide, was in on the act. Instead, Romney went from Mormon to Moron in one easy vote, and shouldn’t be let away with it. “In an emotional speech on the Senate floor Wednesday, Romney said his “faith” led him to his decision.” (The Federalist, Feb. 6, 2020) Bollocks, as the Brits would say.

It was jealousy, spite and anger that “led him to his decision”

It was jealousy, spite and anger that “led him to his decision”, not “faith” or “conscience”, of which he usually displays so very little If the embittered Romney wants to spar with the President of his own Party, then he should do it on his own, not drag his innocent church into the fight. Now that he’s sided with the godless socialists in the Democrat Party, Romney’s sins of the past will come floating back to the present, as is already happening. How many people will remember that it was Romney who voted to shut down Catholic adoption in Massachusetts?
…”He voted to shut down Catholic adoption in Massachusetts a full 13 years before President Barack Obama followed suit. (The Federalist) “On abortion, he went after nuns for opposing it in Massachusetts (once again, before Obama made that policy popular), but voted against federal funding for abortion when he came to D.C. He’s gone back and forth on guns as well, and was actually against Ronald Reagan before he was for him.”

If Romney would turn against his own Party, how long before he turns against his own church?

And that’s not to mention that Obama’s ObamaCare was patterned after Romney’s RomneyCare in Massachusetts. With his latest stab in the back of a pro-life president, how How many people will now be asking if Mitt Romney is a genuine Christian? That he would claim “faith” and “conscience” when he played Brutus during the Senate vote that acquitted President Trump, has many Christian Conservatives up in arms. They will never be silenced, leaving The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with a potential rocky role model problem. For people of faith Romney’s throwing in with desperado Democrats is a big pain in the butt. For the respected LDS, it’s a black eye with people thinking that Romney, in his dastardly act, represented the entire church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints should take warning. If Romney would turn against his own Party, how long before he turns against his own church? Meanwhile, some of us would leave Romney where we last saw him, driving haplessly along highways with his dog on the roof of his vehicle.
