Within days of trying to lay it on the masses that many people “don’t trust politics” because the Republican Party is “all men, all white”, comes the revelation that former First Lady Michelle Obama placed trust aplenty in disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Indeed video proof shows that the adjectives Obama used to describe Weinstein were:: “wonderful”; a “wonderful human being”; a “good friend” and “just a powerhouse”.
Obama’s “wonderful human being” and “good friend” Weinstein will reportedly be suspended from his international film company pending an internal probe into multiple sexual harassment claims after at least eight legal settlements were made with women over alleged harassment.
The women and girls Michelle Obama claimed to champion when she travelled the world for eight years as America’s First Lady don’t find Weinstein anything close to “wonderful”.
Thank goodness for video, which, by its very nature not only brings truth to the forefront but separates reality from hype.
The video originates at a 2013 student symposium right at the White House with Obama heard heaping praise on Weinstein.
"I want to start by thanking Harvey Weinstein for organizing this amazing day," Obama said at the Careers in Film Symposium at the White House. "This is possible because of Harvey. He is a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse.” (Washington Free Beacon, Oct. 6, 2017)
"And the fact that he and his team took the time to make this happen for all of you should say something not about me or about this place, but about you," she continued.
Sounds nice as long as there was no student recruitment going on.
Weinstein reportedly had a close relationship with the Obamas, not to mention the bundler status for having donated $679,275 to them. Visitor records prove that he visited the White House some 13 times between 2010 and 2014. (Canada Free Press, Oct. 7, 2017
Nor is it likely the Obamas changed their mind about him three years later, as their daughter Malia interned for Weinstein only this year.
For someone who makes a career out of championing women and girls, Obama has been keeping company with those who could exploit them.
It makes it all the more incredible how this hard core progressive/left activist, who is on the same choir page as failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, can so casually throw the race card at Republican Party men.
While many may have assumed that she was applauding the speeches during eight successive State of the Nation ceremonies, Obama was really keeping score.
It was during State of the Union addresses that she came to notice that the dichotomy in Congress was out of whack.
“She said the color and gender dichotomy in Congress was particularly noticeable when she attended State of the Union addresses.” ()
Michelle Obama is one of those people who, if you told her the sky is blue, would argue it isn’t.
She sees only the colors she wants, her racial stoking brand of politics blinding her to all others.
Why is it that even though her husband is now undercover ‘Leader of the Resistance’ and no longer president that the mainstream media is still giving platform to her way-out-there opinions?
How many other First Ladies continued to impose unwanted opinions on society after their husband’s terms were up?
Hard enough to swallow that a couple of typical revolutionary malcontents, posing as community organizers, could get themselves elected to the top office of the land, spend eight long years imposing an unwanted political direction on the country they captured through election; leave when their time was legally up far wealthier than when they arrived—and still get to foist their opinions on 50% of the population that never wanted anything to do with them in the first place!
Just like whining, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama just won’t accept the reality that their mission to fundamentally transform America, driven from the luxury of life in public office, is dead in the water. .
But just like Hillary Clinton, these two came to the party with no intentions of ever going home.
Basking in all of the undeserved privileges that come with former presidents and first ladies, Barack and Michelle keep hogging publicity, keep demanding their public space.
Those who comfort themselves that it was only Barack as president and that Michelle played no part in the gig, they have already forgotten that the 44th presidency of the U.S. was a highly destructive trio: Barack, Michelle and Valerie Jarrett, the Chicago consigliere who came into the Oval Office with them.
“Thank God!” was the collective thought on the day the Obamas left for their post-presidency holiday.
Little was it known then that the graphics were to remain the same, 10 months of the Obamas playing out life from yet another tropical paradise.
From a holiday life made all the more promising by a $60-million book deal she will share with her husband, Michelle gets to liberally ladle her over the top opinions on a tired-of-it-all society.
The Obamas and their embittered exiled protégé Hillary Clinton should adopt part of the name of their good friend George Soros’ top progressive nonprofit organization, Move on.org.
