Notable moment from the first debate

One notable moment during the first Presidential debate was Obama’s pot shot at the Tea Party. From the transcript:

“And so part of leadership and governing is both saying what it is that you are for, but also being willing to say no to some things. And I’ve got to tell you, Governor Romney, when it comes to his own party during the course of this campaign, has not displayed that willingness to say no to some of the more extreme parts of his party.”

I’m quite sure the President is frustrated with our unwillingness to go away. We have and are standing strong in our demand for adherence to the Constitution, fiscal responsibility, moral principles, a spiritual foundation and ethical government. We are ordinary Americans, retired and working, male and female, veterans and civilians, rich and poor, who love their country and are tired of the disconnect between the governed and the government. We have been steadfast in our effort to educate Americans and Government representatives on all levels about the freedoms we are losing and about the corruption and disconnect in the halls of Washington, DC. We have studied, attended seminars, read books, and scoured the internet to grasp the issues. We are scared and angry but we are not stupid. So, the President will try to marginalize us and use us to ridicule Mitt Romney. Probably not the best strategy as we represent 31% of the people. Jennie Veary
