President Barack Obama will give the eulogy at the funeral of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church pastor, the late Rev. Clementa Pinckney, on Friday, the White House has confirmed.

The news was first reported by The Post and Courier this afternoon and was quickly confirmed by the White House. Vice President Joe Biden will also attend the Charleston, South Carolina, funeral service. Read more:
