Only one time in the biblical history of humankind that God did NOT choose a sinner to complete some
Recently, in an email, I asked a devout Christian if God ever used bad guys to do good. His response was: "When didn't he?"
Considering that answer over the months since I asked the question, I see there is only one time in the biblical history of humankind that God did NOT choose a sinner to complete something he willed: when he sent His son, Jesus, is the only time.
I think most Christians believe God has a hand in who nation leaders are. That said, God has had a hand in the choice of candidates running to lead the USA. So I have some guidance. Believing as I do, that I am obligated to vote, my decision must be to choose the candidate who through my prayerful judgment appears to be the least sinner. We are all sinners; I have already chosen Christ as my leader, but he is giving us an opportunity to bring more of us to Him before his final role in leading us.
Therefore, I must vote for who, with prayerful guidance, I believe is the least sinner with the talent and skill to lead our nation however hesitantly or awkwardly toward God. We have, at this point, two candidates. One definitely does not lead toward God.
