Peaceful secession

The result of the election is highly predictable.

There will follow a catastrophic downward spiral of the economy resulting from these forces; businesses and investors of all stripes pulling back due to increased uncertainty and regulation; ObamaCare forcing layoffs especially in small business; the partisan bickering in Washington becoming magnified; the increased drag on the economy from those dependent on welfare, and the accelerating debt crisis soon pushing us off the cliff. As Texans, our only reasonable alternative to accepting disaster is peaceful secession. Such a thing is no longer unthinkable. A free and independent Texas would witness an economic boom seldom seen in history. People would flood here for freedom. There come times in history when the longing for freedom becomes stronger than anything else. My proposal is here. Charles Meek Spicewood, TX
