Pierre Poilievre just TORCHED a hostile reporter trying to downplay Canada’s recession

Poilievre: “Under Mark Carney there have been four quarters of economic data.

The economy has shrunk in THREE of those four quarters.

Canada is the ONLY G7 country where that is happening.”

He went further:

- 120,000 Canadians have lost their jobs since Carney took office

- Second-highest unemployment in the G7

Reporter: “We had 2.6% growth… aren’t you jumping the gun calling this a full-blown recession?”

- Worst food price inflation in the G7

Meanwhile Carney stood in the House of Commons and said:

“Affordability is the best it’s been in over a decade.”

Two things cannot be true at the same time.

This isn’t a “technical” recession.

This is a Mark Carney recession.
