Reelection motivation

If you have any illusions left about the motivation of the vast majority of the politicians in Washington, consider this: only those facing reelection huddled with the President after the close call in Virginia.

Those who were not looking at an election did not rush to the White House to try to fix the damage. It's pretty clear this is not about what is best for us, it is about what is best for the politician. Any thought to the contrary is foolish. Mrs. Carolyn M. Brown
