Rep. Tim Burchett says the fight over the Save America Act could not come at a more important time

Burchett made it clear on The Big Weekend Show that Republicans need to do everything possible to pass this legislation, because voters deserve elections that are easy for legal citizens to participate in and impossible for anyone else to exploit.

That should not be controversial.

Citizenship verification should not be controversial.

Voter ID should not be controversial.

Clean voter rolls should not be controversial.

But somehow Washington keeps acting like basic safeguards are too difficult, too risky, or too politically uncomfortable to fight for, even while cities like New York are showing exactly how fast political shifts can change the future of the country.

Republicans have the issue, the voters, and the mandate.

Now they need the backbone.

Pass the SAVE America Act and stop making excuses.
