Robert Mueller III’s Badly Miscast Star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez The swearing-in ceremonies of the One Hundred Sixteenth United States Congress will be the biggest show on earth, making way for the first time since the DNC Barack hoopla of 2008, the January 3, 2019 Birth of a Star. The politicians and their Hollywood instructors are all in rehearsal right now; will continue rehearsing through the upcoming holiday period, and the birth of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the House Floor will be sheer Hollywood all the way.
This is what you would likely hear if you were a fly on the wall during rehearsals: “Alexandria, tone down that screech!” Ditch that wild-eyed look!” “Aunties Nancy and Maxine, remember that Barack is watching you!” The first order of business after the swearing-in will be a collective cry of “IMPEACH!” with or without Maxine Waters. Ocasio-Cortez has already moved up from ingenue ranks to the top of special counsel Robert Mueller III’s pecking order. “Rep-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the recent reports of the Trump organization’s alleged business dealings with Russia during the the 2016 presidential race is more evidence for starting impeachment proceedings against the president. (Washington Times, Nov. 30, 2018)
“Ms. Ocasio-Cortez said the reports are “really concerning” and said she is interested in learning what else investigators will dig up now that former Trump “fixer” Michael Cohen, in a guilty plea this week, claims to have lied to Congress about the work he did on a Trump Tower Moscow project in the middle of the campaign."
The so-called “fixer” is, of course, faking it.
“I’ve been supportive of impeachment for some time now,” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez told reporters Friday outside the U.S. Capitol. “I think it just adds to the case.” (Washington Times)
New York Democrat Rep-Elect Ocasio-Cortez is just shy of being one-month old, meaning if she’s been “supportive of impeachment for some time now”, it had to be strictly as a citizen and community activist educator.
“The New York Democrat questioned how congressional Republicans could have supported the efforts to impeach President Bill Clinton in 1988 over a sex scandal but have been silent when it comes to Mr. Trump’s potential wrongdoings.” (Washington Times).
Bill Clinton was found guilty as charged in his sex scandal. “Trump’s (never ending) potential wrongdoings” have never been proven. Twenty-nine-year-old know-it-all newcomer Ocasio-Cortez is being loudly touted as the youngest person ever elected to Congress. The median age of House members recorded in 2016 shows age 57 for House Members and 61 for Senate members. Touting her as the youngest elected Congress member would be the equivalent of New York’s Rep-Elect saying, that Barry is her favorite uncle, when in fact Barry is her ONLY uncle. Ocasio-Cortez is not the youngest member of Congress, but the youngest FEMALE member. (Wikipedia) Ocasio-Cortez is more foolhardy than competent. A competent politician is one who is careful about what he/she says in front of a mic. It has been in front of a mic where Ocasio-Cortez has been spouting off so many less than prudent things, before moving on to biting remarks on Twitter.

Which of the two on mic or Twitter is the real deal here. Who is actually making those Twitter posts? Ocasio-Cortez’s wild-eyed claims comparing her victory’s significance to the moon landing and wiring America for electricity saying 'we've done what we thought was impossible’ are too absurd for words. “Ocasio-Cortez has claimed before that the her party was responsible for the moon landing. (Daily Mail, Nov. 30, 2018)
'We are the party of King, of Roosevelt, of the ones who went to the moon,' she told the liberal Netroots Nation conference in August. “Ocasio-Cortez and other young environmentalists are pressing for what they call a 'Green New Deal,' including what she demanded in her campaign platform: 'transitioning the United States to a carbon-free, 100-percent renewable energy system, and a fully modernized electrical grid by 2035.’ “She is also calling on members of Congress to refuse political contributions from companies that mine, pump, refine or sell fossil fuels. “At least 15 incoming House Democrats have endorsed an Ocasio-Cortez plan to create a new legislative committee dedicated strictly to global warming issues.”

But at the end of the day, it is Britain’s Daily Mail that throws the most antiseptic sunlight on Ocasio-Cortez’s real popularity:
“Her victory in the November general election was a foregone conclusion in New York's 14th Congressional District, where 77 per cent of voters chose Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump in 2016. “But in an area of the Bronx and Queens that's home to 214,750 active registered Democratic voters, only 27,744 cast ballots in the primary.
“The district's U.S. Census-estimated population in 2016 was 691,715. Fewer than 16,000 voted for Ocasio-Cortez.” (emphasis CFP’s) Cartoons by Dag Barkley
