“Schnellnhuber is also author of what’s called the “two-degree target” that says governments must not allow the temperature to rise more than 2 degrees higher than at the start of the industrial revolution. Any higher, the theory holds, and much life on earth would either perish or be gravely harmed. “To deal with climate issues, he has also called for an “Earth Constitution that would transcend the UN Charter” along with the creation of a “Global Council…elected by all the people on Earth” and a “Planetary Court..a transnational legal body open to appeals from everybody, especially with respect to violations of the Earth Constitution.”Make that the UN Charter, co-written by Canadian UN Poster Boy Maurice Strong and former Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev, the one absurdly transported in a gilded Ark of the Covenant knockoff as the appropriate receptacle for “The new Ten Commandments” that no Pontiff has ever tried to do anything about. Pope Francis will call for “an ethical and economic revolution to prevent catastrophic climate change and growing inequality in a letter published in five languages to the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics on Thursday. The letters are being sent to some 5,000 Catholic bishops and will be published online. Aren’t some of these bishops the same ones who allowed the satan-loving, admired by Obama Saul Alinsky into the Chicago Catholic church? Sadly, Pope Francis sounds just like Obama when he calls for a ‘fundamental change of course to protect the earth and its people’. “The UN believes the letter, which will be called 'Laudato Sii' or 'Praised Be' and is due to be published on Thursday, will have a 'major impact' and could herald the start of a 'transformation'.” (DailyMail, June 14, 2015) “The Pope is expected to argue that the world faces ruin without a revolution in hearts and minds. How many in the faithful would argue that the revolution in human hearts and minds has always been needed because of mans’ sin and not because of the doomsday alarmism of so-called runaway manmade climate change. This is one pontiff those who are still believers in a world going upside-down want to remain in a pulpit far removed from the lies of politics. The Pope is said to have chosen Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, as his namesake at the start of his papacy in 2011, saying the saint’s values reflected his own. Surely Pope Francis is aware that when Christ told his apostles “Feed my sheep”, he was referring not to the four-legged ones who graze the fields but to the two-legged ones for whom He died on the Cross.
