Scary times made much scarier by the silence of many

I find it terrifying the see the power of the IRS being used to attack the American people. Think about it.

What recourse would you have if the IRS alleged that you did something that you did not? How would you defend yourself? How would you prove your case? More importantly, would anyone listen? The American people should never have to fear the government and the IRS is the government. The tactics are designed to intimidate and quiet certain groups and individuals. These are dictatorial actions. This government seems to believe that the end justifies the means. The end being to further their agenda. The means being to deny Americans their rights. These are scary times that are made much scarier by the silence of many. Jean Arcamone Englewood, FL
