Screams echoed around central London as the security team of a posh department store in Piccadilly detained a suspected migrant theft ring

(Andy Ngo) Update: I can report exclusive details about this viral incident. Security staff at Fortnum and Mason in London detained the migrant suspects for allegedly stealing perfume bottles. When they were stopped, they allegedly tried to dispose of the stolen merchandise.

A 51-year-old woman, a 34-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of theft. They were quickly released on their own recognizance and have a court date in January.

A Met Police spokesperson declined to comment about the nationality or immigration status of the suspects.
