Bwaaaaaaaaa! The screech of outrage coming from the pinpricked pompous European Union suffering its first setback in the more than 40 years of its lavish existence. Who would ever have thought that one sunny day real life would come along and let the air out of the EU's balloon; that the sheep would finally abandon the oppressive shepherd en masse? The naked woman riding the bull at EU Brussels headquarters has fallen into the dust.

Between ego-reviving sips of champagne and dainty bites of hoity-toity hors d'oeuvre at meetings set up to explore "What to do about Brexit", they're asking: How dare those 17 million people tell them--the absolute Blue-bloods of Bureaucracy--where to go?! A loudly whining German Chancellor Angela Merkel warns the EU needs to stop other countries following Britain out of the door amid market fears that the bloc is 'no longer governable' after Brexit. Horrors! Britain's unexpected departure has left the EU EXIT sign flashing in neon beckoning other nations who want out. "The German Chancellor told her conservative party board in a conference call that it was necessary to prevent other European Union members going down the same path as Britain. Merkel is also said to have revealed that international financial markets are concerned the EU is 'no longer governable' in the wake of Britain's exit vote. (Daily Mail, June 27, 2016)

"She added that it was not the right time to pursue a quick deepening of cooperation between euro zone member states. "The EU should instead act on popular concerns such as securing the bloc's borders, creating jobs and improve internal security, she said."

Where have you been, EU? The put-upon taxpayers of your nations are being over-run by foreign migrants, ISIS is on the rampage, and there are NO jobs! Like Hotel California, it's all too easy to get into the European Union, but all but impossible to make your way out. Merkel and Company are so confident in their rule of supremacy that they will only allow Britain out their way: "Only when Britain has made the request according to Article 50 will the European Council draw up guidelines in consensus for an exit agreement." - Merkel spokesman Steffen Seibert. Exactly what part does the UN not understand about a 17-million person strong demand stating "We want out!"? The EU reserves the unquestionable right to tell the unwashed masses what they can and cannot do, and take their money while doing so.

Pay attention, folks because the EU--someday soon to be followed by their UN cousins--are about to show you a bad case of The Uglies. Meanwhile, the best thing about Brexit is it shows in living colour how EU 'leaders' look when things start not going their way. For the first time since 1993, it's the elite and not the little people who are sending up the loudest cries of injustice. Looks good on them!
