Speaking in bombs

If that was their bomb in Bogota’s financial district yesterday, then FARC speaks a funny language. Days before his inauguration last Saturday, FARC sent a video through al jazeera proposing to incoming Colombia President Juan Maneul Santos a “talk” about conflict.

Next thing Santos heard was the sound of a car bomb going off near a building housing the offices of the popular Radio Caracol, whose office ceiling fell in. Bogota was blessed this time, as there were no deaths. Seven people were hurt, three whose injuries sent them to hospital.
