The constant threat of Congressional insanity
The August recess is upon us. The House and Senate will be going home for a month.
It is a sad commentary that working, taxpaying Americans can breath for a month. It is a time to rest from the constant threat of Congressional insanity.
And, folks, it is also a time to attend town hall meetings and to write and call your representatives to voice your concerns or to say thank you. Failure to communicate with them leaves you no right to complain later.
This nation faces many challenges. How do you feel about immigration, gun control, student loan rates, Obamacare, foreign aid, Fed policies and gay rights? As Aaron Tippin sang, "You have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything."
Let your Congressmen and Senators know where you stand.
