Earlier this month, Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue, a dog rescue organisation in New Zealand, took in a terrified pitbull, Nala, who was 'extremely shutdown and terrified' after wandering the streets for weeks. The shelter's owner, Abbey van der Plas, spent two days desperately trying to coax the shaken dog out of the corner of her cage and gain her trust, but wasn't able to do so. Read more:
